New Web Site Features (2010-02-19)
Discover new content in our general information pages, such as "General Info", "Exemptions", and "Ag Classification".
We now have many more PDF forms available to download on our "Download Forms" page.
The Record Search feature and Parcel Details display now have an updated look and new features:
• Both Certified and Current Working Assessment Values are available on the Parcel Details screen.
• A new "Parcel List Generator" and "Sales in Area" GIS Buffer tool are now available on the Parcel Details page.
(Both of these commands do a true GIS Buffer on the current parcel and allow you to create a custom buffer report and download the data or print directly to mailing labels format.)
The Interactive GIS Mapping interface also has many new features:
• The GIS Map can now be zoomed and Printed to Scale.
• There is a new GIS Coordinate Readout at the bottom of the map that shows your mouse location in State Plane X,Y and Lat/Long readout in both DMS and DD.
The readout can be frozen in place by hitting the <Esc> key, allowing to copy/paste the current location.
• There is a new GIS Measure Tool that shows Distance and Area calculations on one screen. It also creates a mini Traverse Report, showing each point clicked and the Distance/Bearing of each segment.
• You can Download the GIS Map Image by clicking the Floppy Icon in the Print section of the GIS Menu. This allows you to download the map image at any pixel size and scale, for use in your own report or application.
• The GIS Print command also has many new features. Primarily you can now Print to Scale on up to 6 paper sizes in both Portrait and Landscape mode. The paper sizes are from 8.5x11 to 24x24 paper. The GIS Map can also print directly to an Adobe PDF file. It is now very easy to add a GIS Map printout to your custom in-house reports.
